According to a report by the Vanguard News on Sunday, April 26, 2026, Rev. (Dr.) Felix Omobude the former National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and General Superintendent of Gospel Light International Ministries, has alleged that the Killings happening in Jos And Benue state have always been well planned and executed by the killers.
Omobude said anyone who kills innocent people is a criminal. He believes the country’s general state of insecurity is worrisome, adding that the killings in Jos, Benue State, and other parts of the country have been ongoing and systemic, predating the current government.
He added that the killings have always been well planned and executed, and questioned why the government has not been able to stop or at least reduce them. Insecurity has generally heightened across Nigeria, with hardly any region spared. Some attribute the rise partly to poverty, but he stressed that the government has the primary duty of securing lives and property.
Omobude said, “The killings have always been well planned and executed by the killers, and our worry is why government have not been able to stop, or at least reduce these incidents.”……See More
