According to a report by TV Platinum, on Monday April 27, 2026, Activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has launched a scathing critique of Southeast governors, specifically targeting Abia State Governor Alex Otti and Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo.
In a recent statement, Sowore questioned the political sincerity of both leaders, accusing them of maintaining clandestine alignments with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu despite their respective party affiliations.
Sowore’s comments come amid a period of heightened political scrutiny regarding the relationship between regional governors and the federal government.
The activist challenged critics who target Governor Otti for his perceived opposition to the President, arguing that such criticism ignores a deeper, underlying political reality.
Addressing the political landscape, Sowore remarked:
“You criticize Alex Otti because he’s fighting against Tinubu. Alex Otti is going to have a Labour Party convention in Aba. They don’t have a presidential candidate. Their presidential candidate is Tinubu. So who are you fooling?”
The activist further extended his criticism to Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, suggesting that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) leadership under Soludo also operates in covert support of the current administration.
