Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Sa’ar has stated that Israel will not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon, making the remarks during a joint press conference with Petr Macinka as tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East.
In a video shared by DWS News, Sa’ar stressed that preventing Iran from developing nuclear capabilities remains Israel’s top national security priority. He warned that Tehran must not be permitted to acquire what he described as the “world’s most dangerous weapon,” reinforcing Israel’s long-standing security concerns.
Speaking at the briefing, Sa’ar reaffirmed Israel’s position on Iran’s nuclear programme amid growing regional uncertainty. He also highlighted the importance of continued international cooperation in addressing the threat, noting that Israel remains committed to monitoring developments closely alongside its partners.
He said, “We will continue to stand guard. We will never allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. The international community must take a clear stance against Iran’s nuclear ambitions and against its proxy terror armies.”
Israeli officials have consistently described Iran’s nuclear activities as a major threat to regional stability and global security. They have called on the international community to maintain pressure on Tehran and strengthen enforcement mechanisms to prevent further progress in its nuclear programme.
