IRGC: If The Enemy Makes The Mistake Of Striking, They Must Be Prepared To Face New Fronts

According to Anadolu Agency, Iran issued a stark warning to the United States and Israel on Tuesday, vowing to open new fronts across the region if the two allies carry out additional strikes on Iranian territory, amid persistently high tensions following a Feb. 28 attack.

Senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that any renewed military action would be met with a multi-front response, potentially mobilizing Tehran’s network of allied armed groups across Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The warning marks an escalation in rhetoric, signaling that Iran is prepared to widen any conflict beyond its borders.

Regional tensions have remained high since US and Israel launched strikes against Iran on Feb. 28, an operation Tehran says targeted military infrastructure. While US and Israeli officials described the action as a response to Iranian aggression, the attack has since fueled a cycle of threats and counter-threats.

“If the enemy makes the mistake of striking again, they must be prepared to face new fronts they have never experienced before, an IRDC commander told state television, without elaborating on specific targets or timing.

The warning comes as US naval assets remain deployed in the Persian Gulf and Israeli leaders continue to vow prevention of a nuclear-armed Iran. Diplomatic efforts to revive nuclear talks have stalled, raising fears of further military escalation.
