As reported by Fox Tv, security expert Behnam Ben Taleblu has given a careful evaluation of the internal situation in Iran, claiming that while a full political breakdown is not on the horizon, the nation still experiences substantial long-term structural challenges.
In a policy forum focused on regional stability, Ben Taleblu expressed caution when discussing possible regime changes, highlighting that the current circumstances do not indicate a total systemic failure.
“We are not facing a total, complete change of the regime,” he remarked, observing that even with noticeable tensions, Iran’s governing system remains stable.
Nevertheless, he asserted that stability must not be mistaken for resolution. He pointed out that deeper, underlying issues persist in influencing public opinion and political conflicts in the nation.
“The basic problems… those feelings of grievance are not disappearing,” Ben Taleblu mentioned, highlighting ongoing structural issues that go beyond immediate political changes.
He noted various internal factors that lead to long-term instability, such as poor economic management, widespread public discontent, and changing social views, especially among the youth.
