In a conversation with Arise TV, the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party for 2023, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, stressed the need to respect people, especially senior leaders.
He brought up a recent instance in which President Tinubu was observed showing humility and respect by almost kneeling to meet an elder statesman.
Baba-Ahmed made a comparison between this and the actions of other well-known people, such as Wole Soyinka, who he felt had been disparaging other people. He asked good Nigerians to maintain their civility in the face of political dynamics and tensions.

“We saw the ongoing president of Nigeria almost kneeling to greet an elder statesman, while people like Soyinka are out there insulting others.”
“So in the heat, in the presence of all the politics, dynamics, and everything, decent Nigerians should continue to offer respect to others.”..……..See More
