According to the report from the Vanguard, the National Chairman of Abia State Elders Consultative Forum, Archbishop Professor Princewill Ariwodo criticized the current state of economic management in Nigeria, describing it as the worst he has witnessed. Comparing the current government to previous administrations, he suggested that former leaders demonstrated greater competence in handling the nation’s economy.
Calling for President Tinubu’s resignation if he cannot effectively address the country’s economic challenges, he argued that the economy was in better shape before Tinubu’s presidency. He accused Tinubu of causing damage to the economic progress achieved under former President Buhari.
Emphasizing the harsh reality of Nigerians’ suffering, he condemned Tinubu’s allies and supporters for their unwillingness to acknowledge the severity of the situation and urged a more honest and transparent dialogue about the state of the nation’s economy.
He said, “We have never experienced this level of decay in the economic management of this country. Other leaders were in one way or the other better than the current Government.
Tinubu should resign if he is unable to fix the economy. The Nigeria economy was far better before he took over. Buhari handed over to him a better economy which he has now destroyed. But his allies and psychopaths don’t tell him the truth. Nigerians are suffering, there is no pretense.”….Seē _ Morē
