The Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN, has reacted to the looting that occurred today in Kano State, during the #EndBadGovernance protest in that state.
While reacting, Mr Festus Keyamo made it known that what happened in Kano today is that those who were inclined to robbery have been given the license and the opportunity to commit their crime in broad daylight, under the guise of a legitimate protest.
Mr Festus Keyamo made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Thursday afternoon, while reacting to the looting that occurred today in Kano State. He went on and noted that peaceful protests are legitimate, but people should not call for a protests when they don’t have the capacity to determine its trajectory.
Mr Festus Keyamo wrote: “What has simply happened is that those who were already inclined to robbery or are already armed robbers at night have been given the license and opportunity to commit their crime in broad daylight under the guise of a ‘legitimate’ protest. Hence the caution that, though peaceful protests are legitimate, you don’t call for a protest when you don’t have the capacity to determine its trajectory.”….Seē _ Morē
