Dumotein Douglas Kuruye, a legal practitioner, has spoken about a political conflict that happened between Rotimi Amaechi and Nyesom Wike when Amaechi was the governor of Rivers State and Wike was a junior minister under former President Goodluck Jonathan.
In a video shared by TVC, Kuruye said Amaechi had a conflict with former First Lady Patience Jonathan and Wike played a dangerous role in this conflict because of his ambition to become governor in 2015. He alleged that Wike aligned himself with individuals who did not have the best interests of Rivers State at heart. He said Wike’s actions during this period were driven by his political ambitions, which led him to exploit the situation for his benefit.
In Kuruye’s words: “When Amaechi had an issue with Patience Jonathan, the wife of former President Jonathan, Wike played a dangerous role because he was ambitious. He had an ambition to become governor in 2015 so he made himself available to be used by some persons who did not mean well for Rivers”.……..See More
