Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed outrage over the Nigerian Police Force’s silence and inaction regarding the attempted bombing at the Presidential Hotel in Port Harcourt.
“If it were a situation involving me or my associates, by now, Nigeria would be hot, with arrests, statements, and press conferences,” Fubara said in a video released by Channels Television yesterday.
Fubara questioned why the police had not taken decisive action, suggesting a double standard in their handling of the situation. “I’m wondering why, after several weeks, the Nigerian Police has not made a statement about the attempt to detonate a dynamite in front of the Presidential hotel,” he said.
The attempted bombing, which occurred several weeks ago, has raised concerns about security and safety in the state
