The Rivers state political crisis between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, has taken a new dimension as Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar, a media aide to Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election, stated that he had repeatedly warned Wike that Governor Fubara would soon end his political career.
He took delight in announcing that recent developments, including the declaration of 25 seats in the Rivers Assembly as vacant by the Court, had only further validated his claims.
He triumphantly pronounced that Wike’s political clout was now virtually non-existent, with his erstwhile authority diminished following the emergence of the court’s decision.
Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar said this in a post he shared on his official X handle.
According to Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar;
“I have told Wike several times that Gov. Sim Fubara will retire him from politics, now that Court has declared 25 Rivers Assembly seats vacant, tell me what is left for Wike? He is now irrelevant!”.………See More
