In a recent interview with Channels Television’s, Hon. Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, offered a candid assessment of the country’s challenges and the role of various stakeholders, including the President, Governors, and Ministries.
Agbonayinma emphasized the need to give President Bola Tinubu an opportunity to address the country’s problems, stating, “Wait, let’s see what Mr. President would do.” He expressed confidence in the President’s ability to make a positive impact, urging citizens to be patient and supportive.
He also pointed out that some Ministries are not performing their duties as expected, contributing to the country’s challenges. However, he refused to solely blame the President, instead, calling for a more comprehensive approach to accountability.
Agbonayinma posed a thought-provoking question, “Who are the ones destroying the country, is it Mr. President?” He suggested that Governors and other officials also bear responsibility for the nation’s problems, emphasizing that everyone should be held accountable, not just the President.
In his words;
“Some Ministries are not doing what they ought to do. Wait , let’s see what Mr President would do. Give him the opportunity. I have said it without fear or favor, I respect people, I don’t fear anybody. This country belongs to all of us but what you’ve forgotten is that Everybody wants to throw stones at the President, what about the Governors. Who are the the ones destroying the country, is it Mr President?”….Seē _ Morē
