Despite complaints that he appeared to be much older, Joseph Minala has already left Italy for another European country ten years after joining Lazio as a teenager.
When a photo of the then-young Lazio youngster went viral in 2014, Minala first gained notoriety online.
The midfielder appeared older than his actual age at the time, which was 17, and his look suggested that his childhood had probably not been nice.
The investigation was started after reading a post on an African football website that stated the young man was actually 42 years old. He didn’t only seem older.
The fact that 56-year-old Japanese superstar Kazuyoshi Miura is the oldest player currently competing at the highest level disproves Minala’s assertion that he is young.
In his 36th year of professional competition, the lone survivor of FIFA 96 has played for approximately 15 clubs.
