Oladeinde Ariyo, a public affairs analyst, has given his take on the political crisis existing in Rivers State.
The age-old feud that existed between the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and the current minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, escalated after the governor appointed certain individuals as caretakers to take over the leadership of the 23 local government areas in Rivers State.
Things took a different turn as youths in the state trooped out to enforce the order of Governor Fubara.
However, in a video posted by TVC News, Oladeinde Ariyo stated that the crowd that took to the streets was rented.
He notes that it will only cost him a few thousand naira to gather mammoth crowds that will do his bidding, noting the rate at which people are willing to do anything as long as money is involved.
According to the video, “If I choose to protest here tomorrow, it will only cost me a few thousand naira, and I will raise enough crowds on the streets of Lagos.”..…….See More
