Audu Ogbeh, a former Minister of Agriculture and former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has recounted an attempt on his life. Speaking in a video shared by TVC, Ogbeh revealed that a Land Rover was sent to his house to pick him up. He later discovered that the plan was to take him into the bush, shoot him, and bury him there.
Fortunately, Ogbeh was not home when the vehicle arrived. A few days later, someone called him and warned him to leave the country immediately for his safety. He took the advice seriously and quickly left the country.
Ogbeh emphasized that he nearly got killed, as a Land Rover was sent to his house with the intention of taking him to the bush to be shot and buried. He mentioned his luck in not being home at the time and how a subsequent warning prompted him to leave the country as quickly as possible.
As per TVC News, he remarked, “I nearly got killed, a Land Rover was sent to my house to pick me up and I was told later I was to be taken to the bush and shot and buried. Luckily, I was not home. And a few days later, somebody called me and said leave the country as quickly as you can and I left”….Seē _ Morē
