Pastor Tunde Bakare has urged those planning to protest to do so peacefully and responsibly, without causing damage to infrastructure or inciting violence. He shared his own experience of leading protests in the past, where no one was harmed and even lost belongings were returned.
In a video shared by TVC, Pastor Bakare said it is possible to make a strong point without resorting to destruction or violence. He said protesters can effectively express their concerns and demands while ensuring the safety and integrity of the community.
In Pastor Bakare’s words: “It is a fundamental human right to protest but please don’t break down the little infrastructure that we have and don’t let it turn into bloodbath. I want you to know that I led protest in Nigeria and even phones that were lost in the battleground were returned. Nobody hurt anyone and nobody killed anyone, you can make your point without letting anything be destroyed”….Seē _ Morē
