An elder statesman and a leader in the Niger Delta, Pa Edwin Clark, has claimed that the injustice against the Igbos has continued under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
While speaking, he noted that Tinubu appointed a total of 10 Yoruba ministers from the south west region, but appointed only five ministers from the south east region, stating it clearly that there is no justification for that particular action. He went on and made it known that no effort has been made to get it corrected.
According to Punch, Edwin Clark made this disclosure when he was being interviewed.
He said: “Mr President, even in your administration, the discrimination and injustice against the Igbos has not abated.”
Speaking further, the elder statesman urged the Igbos to stand up wherever they are to assert their rights judiciously in a democratic way, in order to benefit like other Nigerians, as it was before the civil war of the 1967.
In addition, he urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to restructure the country without wasting time, if he wants the country to remain one. He also urged him to implement the 2014, National Conference Report, which submitted 600 recommendations to the presidency.……. See More
