Sim Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has addressed the removal of Chidi Awuse from his role as Chairman of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers. In a video released by Sahara TV, Fubara expressed dissatisfaction with Awuse’s tenure, citing the deliberate omission of his and the deputy governor’s photographs from the council’s 2024 calendar as a significant affront to his administration. Fubara also criticized Awuse for ineffective leadership and his failure to foster harmonious relationships among council members and with the state government.
