Former senator Shehu Sani has sparked reactions online after taking a swipe at Nigeria’s political elite over the nature of recent protests, particularly following demonstrations involving leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a Facebook post, Sani criticized what he described as a growing trend among politicians who stage brief, symbolic protests but fail to sustain real pressure for change.
