Mr. Baba Yusuf, A Political Analyst And Strategist has weighed in on the current issue surrounding the reinstatement of Sanusi Muhammadu II. It is no longer news that Sanusi Muhammadu was reinstated into power as the Emir of Kano four years after his disposition by Former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Mr. Baba Yusuf claimed that even though everything seems to be calm in Kano State at the moment some people aren’t still happy with the outcome of Sanusi Muhammadu’s reinstatement. He further added that there is presently an unholy silence in the state because security officials are heavily present to make sure law and order are being maintained.
As regards the recent court order granted by the Kano State High Court to halt the reinstatement of Sanusi Muhammadu, Mr. Baba Yusuf believes that this court order is significant. He pointed out the effects that might come with this court order by saying it will further expand the toxic nature of events in Kano State which could spread to communities because people will tend to choose sides.
In an interview with Arise News Television today, he said: “In regards to the generality of indigene and residents of Kano State it is calm but everybody in their various silos and clusters are not happy whether you are supporting his Royal Highness Muhammadu Sansui II or the five Emirs on this side led by Emir Ado Bayero that is what it is at the moment. There is an unholy silence in Kano State because the security agencies and rightly so have stepped in and tried to ensure law and order are maintained or otherwise only God knows what would happen by now”..……..See More
