Social media users have taken to their official X account on Sunday, April 5, 2026 to react to the comment that the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu made about the Christians in Nigeria.
This came on the day of Easter celebration across the world.
In the Easter message that the Israeli Prime Minister shared on his page, he said Christians are being persecuted in Nigeria. Benjamin Netanyahu, however congratulated all Christians on the celebration. He said his administration is protecting Christians and the community is growing.
According to Benjamin Netanyahu on his official X account;
“Christians are persecuted across the Middle East, Syria, Lebanon, Nigeria, Turkey and beyond. But in our region, Israel alone protects our Christian community which is growing and prospering”.
