Some hours ago Kenya diaspora media aired the story of a Kenyan mother who talked about her, son who was born abnormal but he has survived to date. She is a mother of eight children and the child was her sixth born. According to her, when she gave birth to him, he didn’t have nostrils and the upper lip. This made it hard to raise him, because he was breathing though his mouth. It meant that she could not breastfeed him, because he could not breath while breastfeeding.
She went to a nearby hospital and she was refered to Kijabe hospital. When she went there, they did an operation and made a nostril and covered the upper lip. The problem is that his nose and mouth are tied together and he can’t talk well or eat well. It’s now fifteen years and the problem is getting more worse making the mother come out seeking help from Kenyans to help her take her son to hospital for and operation. Doctors said they are ready to do two surgeries, one to petition the mouth and the nose and two to open up his ears which are being affected by the condition. The mother said that she loves him very much and she thanks God for the years he has given him in this world. When the boy is talking, it appears a bit hard because he can’t talk and breath at the same time.….See More
