Everybody wants to be taken seriously. Respect comes to those who don’t even try to get it, and those who try to force it on others usually fail. Some older people tried to make you respect them when you were much younger. How many of them still have your respect?
Most of the time, people respect you because of how you live your life, not because you try to make them.
1. Be yourself.
Stay true to yourself and be yourself. People will see right through you if you try to be someone you’re not, and nothing kills respect faster than that. 2. Never say you can’t do something.
People will like you more if you don’t say things without thinking. When you aren’t sure if you will do something, it’s better not to say it. Say it only if you are sure you can do it, and if for some reason you can’t, try to let them know. With this, people will think that what you say is important.

You should be able to tolerate certain things, and if you can’t, you should never accept them from anyone, no matter who they are. No one will respect someone who is weak. People will respect you when they see how strongly you stick to your values. People tend to respect you more when they see that you’ve done well with the same methods.
4. Learn not to be around all the time.
Too much circulation lowers the value. When you’re always around, there’s no reason to miss you, and it’s easy for people to dislike you because your presence has become too common. When you aren’t around much, people start to miss you, and when you do show up, it’s a big deal because they know it doesn’t happen often……See More
