Primate Elijah Ayodele has publicly criticized President Bola Tinubu over his recent visit to Plateau State following the deadly attacks in Jos, raising concerns about the handling of the situation.
In a statement shared on social media, the cleric questioned the focus of the president’s visit, suggesting that it did not fully address the gravity of the crisis. According to him, the visit failed to include key locations directly affected by the violence, which has led to growing dissatisfaction among some Nigerians.
Ayodele stated: “Tinubu, you have just made a mistake. You didn’t go to where the killings happened.” He argued that such an omission could send the wrong message to victims and affected communities who expected a more direct show of concern and leadership.
