He Was My Son, I Struggled To Sponsor Him, After All My Effort, He Was Killed For No Reason-Hassan

In a video shared by Trust TV, Zainab Hassan, the mother of Ibrahim Haruna Abdulkareem, has shared her deep pain after losing her son during a violent reprisal attack in Anguwan Rukuba.

Ibrahim, 31, was a corps member who worked hard to support his family. After his father’s death, he became the main provider at home. His mother explained that she made many sacrifices to ensure he got an education, hoping he would build a better future for the family.

He was not only serving at a private school but also worked as a motorcycle rider in the evenings to earn extra income. This showed how committed he was to taking care of his loved ones.

On the day of the attack, Ibrahim had gone out for his usual evening work. When news of violence in the area spread, his family became worried, especially because motorcycle riders are often vulnerable in such situations. Attempts to reach him failed, and later, the family received the heartbreaking news of his death.

Zainab described her son as her first child and the only graduate in the family. She had placed her hopes on him, believing he would continue to support and uplift them.

His death has left a painful gap in the family, not only emotionally but also financially. For his mother, the loss is especially heavy, as it feels like all her efforts and sacrifices ended in tragedy.

In her words, “He was my first son and the only graduate in the family. I struggled to sponsor his education so he could support the family. After all my effort, he was killed for no reason.”……See More
