As the Israeli regime under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wages a multi-front war against the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and its proxies, a growing number of citizens are voting with their feet, with a recent research from Tel Aviv University shows that approximately 99,000 Israelis left the country in 2023 and 2024, while fewer than 20,000 returned last year.
According to a report made by Anadolu English on Thursday, 2 April, 2026, Hila Amit, an Israeli researcher who relocated to Germany in 2011 for political reasons during an interview, revealed that ordinary Israelis are definitely not safer today than before the wars in Gaza and against Iran, saying “I think the whole situation in Israel since 1967 has been unsafe, so I don’t think there’s a lot of change. It’s getting worse.”
She also blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s policies for the deepening insecurity, alleging that his megalomaniac plans to control and make Israel a new empire have led to more death and injury within Israeli society.
Amit also argued that Netanyahu’s primary interest is not national security but political survival, stating “For three weeks, people have been in shelters. They can’t even go outside to say, ‘We don’t agree with this. For the Netanyahu government, a continuous state of war is good. It helps him stay in power,” further describing the ongoing Iran’s war as a political tool designed to keep Israeli society focused on an external enemy rather than internal opposition.
Hila Amit went further to addressed growing hostility toward Israelis abroad, noting videos circulating online of Jewish people being insulted in various countries, stressing that those incidents are tied to anger over Israeli government policies, not antisemitism.
She also said “Those people are not anti-Semitic and think that what Israel is doing is not okay, and have decided to treat every Israeli citizen as if they are to blame for what the government is doing.”……See More
