Every mortal man requires the divine presence of God. When Moses and the Israelites were about to leave Egypt, Moses requested God to accompany them. Here are some other ways to invite God’s presence into and around your life:
1. Maintain a worshipful atmosphere
Worshiping God is recognizing who He is and showing our love for Him via singing and prayer. When you worship God in spirit and truth, you open up your entire being to Him. When individuals worship, their surroundings are always filled with God’s presence. It is beneficial to have a worshipful atmosphere wherever you go. It’s not always about the singing, but it’s always about God’s reverence.
2. Pray from the heart.
Praying in the spirit is praying in response to the Holy Spirit’s prompting. You pray according to God’s will when you pray in the spirit. To edify your Spirit man, the finest way is to pray in tongues. When you pray in the spirit, you put aside your carnal and sensual desires and instead pray as guided by the Holy Spirit. Because it is God who is leading you, praying in the spirit will draw God’s presence to you.
3. Devote yourself to God
A solemn devotion to a specific service is known as consecration. “Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work,” the Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:20-21, “Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work.” Because it is holy and worthy of use, a vessel of honor contains the presence of God. God’s presence will always be with you if you live a decent life.
4. Give with compassion
King Solomon presented thousands of sacrifices as he dedicated the temple to God in 2 Chronicles 7. God’s brightness enveloped the temple with a cloud of smoke after the offering, revealing that He was a part of the dedication. God’s presence was continually felt in that temple, and after many years, Daniel, too, received assistance from it, thanks to Solomon’s dedication covenant with God. Give to God a proper sacrifice rather than giving without understanding, and His presence will rest upon you.
5. Self-control
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, which, O God, You will not despise,” the Bible says in Psalm 51:17. Humility and brokenness are states of the heart that are submissive and powerless in the presence of God. Be broken and humble before God, acknowledging that you can’t achieve anything without Him. After that, his presence will come to your aid..…See More
