A terrorist organisation known as Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, popularly known as Boko Haram, has confirmed the abduction of 416 persons in Gwoza, Borno State, several weeks ago by releasing videos to community leaders in Borno state.
The President of the Borno South Youths Alliance, Sama’ila Kaigama, has revealed that the group claims some of the abducted women have chosen to remain with them voluntarily.
Speaking on News Central TV, Kaigama relayed what he said he was told directly by the terrorists. “From the conversations we had with them, they said some of the abducted women are willing to stay with them in the bush or the forest. They said they are willing to stay with them and practise whatever form of religion that they are practising. They said they are willing and they want to be with them in that way,” he said.
Kaigama also revealed that the Boko Haram fighters are desperate to recruit more members following their expulsion from the city. He called on the security agencies to intensify the assault against the terrorists in their enclaves in the Sambisa forest as he identified that the ISWAP group and Boko Haram group are currently in an intense fight against each other…..See More
