Aref made the remarks on social media as diplomatic delegations arrived in Islamabad for the ongoing talks aimed at ending the Iran-related conflict and stabilizing a fragile ceasefire arrangement. The discussions are being mediated by Pakistan and involve senior officials from both sides.

Aref further cautioned that failure to reach a diplomatic settlement could carry significant consequences for the wider region. He warned that if negotiations collapse and hostilities resume, both the United States and Israel would bear “greater costs,” underscoring Iran’s position that escalation would be counterproductive for all parties involved.
The talks follow weeks of violence across the Middle East, which has already destabilized regional security and disrupted global energy and shipping routes.
Recent reporting indicates that both sides remain deeply distrustful, with Washington insisting on verifiable commitments from Tehran while Iran demands sanctions relief and security guarantees……See More
