Social media users have taken to their official X account on Friday, April 10, 2026 to react to the statement that the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Afam Osigwe made about the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan.
This came after the INEC Chairman removed the names of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary of ADC from the portal
In the statement that Afam Osigwe made on his page, he said Joash Ojo Amupitan is a distinguished Professor of Law. The NBA President advised Joash Ojo Amupitan to ensure that his actions reflect fairness. Afam Osigwe said they are closely monitoring the activities of INEC.
According to Afam Osigwe on his official X account;
