A Man Told Me That I’m Scaring Men Aways Because I’m Always Posting About My Cancer -Cancer Survivor

A Nigerian cancer survivor, Udeze Chinenye Gloria, has sparked emotional reactions online after sharing a personal experience on her Facebook page regarding criticism she received over her health advocacy.

In a post shared on her Facebook page, Gloria revealed that someone told her she was pushing men away because she frequently shares pictures of herself during her illness and talks openly about cancer.

Quoting the criticism and her response, she wrote: “A man just told me that am scaring men away because am always posting pictures of when am sick and talking about Cancer.”

Reacting strongly, Gloria questioned why she should stop creating awareness about a life-threatening disease simply to appeal to men. She pointed out that many people abandon genuine relationships despite claiming to have preferences, making such opinions irrelevant to her.

The cancer survivor emphasized that her priority is raising awareness and helping others who may be going through similar struggles. She made it clear that she would not hide her journey for the sake of societal expectations.

Gloria also shared a touching moment from her personal life, revealing that she has experienced true support from a partner. According to her, he once reassured her by saying they would face the battle together, a gesture she described as genuine love.

She added that any man who cannot support her mission to create awareness is not meant to be in her life.

Her post has since resonated with many social media users, with several praising her courage and authenticity.

Gloria’s message continues to inspire conversations about resilience, self-worth, and the importance of using personal experiences to educate and uplift others…..See More
