According to reports, the INEC Chairman, Joash Amupitan (SAN), has warned Nigerians particularly broadcast media organisations against the spread of misinformation. He emphasized that the integrity of the 2027 general elections will depend largely on how responsibly the nation’s airwaves are managed.

That is why Joash Amupitan, SAN, reportedly emphasized that in determining the outcome of elections, there must be no chaos, and the airwaves should remain truthful and peaceful. He stressed that the information space has become a critical battleground in modern electoral processes.
