I Called The Doctor Who Signed Blessing CEO’s Cancer Report; He Said He Knows Nothing About It-Doctor

The controversy surrounding the alleged cancer diagnosis of Nigerian influencer Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has intensified following fresh claims from a medical professional who has challenged the authenticity of a medical report circulating online.

The issue gained public attention after a document purportedly confirming Blessing CEO’s diagnosis surfaced on social media, prompting widespread debate and concern. Given the seriousness of such health-related claims, the report quickly drew scrutiny from both the public and professionals within the medical community.

During an interview on Arise Television, Dr. Adefunke Arowolo disclosed that she undertook independent efforts to verify the legitimacy of the document once it began trending. According to her, certain inconsistencies within the report raised immediate suspicion, leading her to investigate further.

Dr. Arowolo explained that she contacted the pathologist whose name appeared on the document in order to confirm its authenticity. Her findings, however, contradicted the claims made in the report and deepened concerns about the spread of misinformation, particularly when it involves sensitive health issues that could influence public perception or trigger emotional reactions.

She stated: “It’s interesting that you’re bringing this same result to me because Dr. Odigwe, the pathologist that signed this report, lives in Asaba, and I’m a doctor; of course, I can trace any doctor in Nigeria. And I called him on Tuesday. It’s the same result that is going round social media, and this particular pathologist said he knows nothing about this, and he’s based in Asaba, not Enugu. Yes, the pathologist of this report—I know that for an absolute fact. Yes, and he stays in Asaba; the address here is Enugu; he hasn’t been to Enugu in recent times.”

Her statement has further fueled skepticism about the document’s credibility and highlighted the risks associated with unverified information online. The situation underscores the importance of fact-checking, especially in cases involving medical diagnoses, where misinformation can have serious consequences for individuals and the public at large.

As discussions continue, the incident serves as a reminder of the need for responsible reporting and careful validation of sensitive claims before they are widely shared…..See More
