Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV, Kenneth Okonkwo, a member of the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has shared his views on party loyalty and recent political developments involving key figures, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.
Okonkwo spoke on the issue of political defections, noting that such moves often generate debate about commitment and consistency within party structures. His remarks come amid ongoing discussions about alignments and decisions made by elected officials across different political platforms.
According to him, “Even Wike himself said that every governor who defected should not be re-elected. Even Wike knows that the governors who defected to the APC are senseless, sorry to say it. Even when his own governor, Fubara, defected to the APC, he said he is not worthy of a second term.”
