Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has opened up about a shocking movie offer that asked him to play the role of a gay man without his prior knowledge.
Speaking in an interview with FeelRightNews, the actor explained how he only found out about the true nature of the job after arriving on set.
He had been invited for a movie role with no full details given ahead of time.
When he got to the location, the producer started explaining the story and told him that he would play the role of a gay.
Ogogo said he immediately looked at the face of the person who called him for the job. He asked the producer why he could not think of anyone else to call but him.
The actor made it clear he was not happy about being chosen for such a part without being told first.
He said no to the offer right away and refused to take the job.
His words: “When I got to the location, the producer started explaining the story told me and told me that I would play the role of a gay man.
