Trump warned that the United States could target Iran’s electricity-generating facilities if negotiations fail, stating that the country could be bombed “back to the Stone Ages.” The comments were made as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to escalate.
The Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a strong response, criticizing both the language used and the broader policy direction. The group accused the administration of leading the United States into what it described as “an illegal war of aggression” without public support.
