Political analyst Dele Momodu has criticized leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for constantly blaming former President Muhammadu Buhari for the nation’s current challenges, describing them as ungrateful.
He pointed out that without Buhari’s support and endorsement, it would have been nearly impossible for President Bola Tinubu to secure the presidency, making the ongoing attacks on the former leader hypocritical.
Momodu singled out former APC Chairman Adams Oshiomhole, noting that it is unfair for those who benefited from Buhari’s eight-year tenure to now turn around and heap all the blame on him while ignoring the current administration’s role in the economic crisis.
Dele Momodu said: “Buhari handed over to Tinubu, but for Buhari maybe it would have been impossible for Tinubu to be president today. But who are the people attacking Buhari today even in death? I was watching Adams Oshiomhole the other day complaining and heaping every blame on Buhari. I said so human beings are like this. Once upon a time you are chairman of APC. So if you are today attacking APC it means that you must be ungrateful to the man who held forth for 8 years and did everything.”
