In a compelling video interview posted on Chief Dele Momodu’s official Instagram page, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, the National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, issued a stark warning to President Bola Tinubu regarding his 2027 presidential ambitions.
During the interview, Nwanyanwu advised caution concerning the work and influence of Minister Nyesom Wike. He emphasized that the approval of Wike’s actions should not be assumed to reflect the stance of the President, the federal government, or the Abuja administration.
Nwanyanwu stated, “I have said on many occasions that the President has no business listening to Wike.” He warned that while President Tinubu had appointed Wike, the President should ensure that Wike does not ignite conflicts in Rivers State, as this could jeopardize Tinubu’s presidency.
The chairman highlighted that Siminalayi Fubara, the current Governor of Rivers State, should be Tinubu’s primary point of contact regarding political matters leading up to the 2027 elections. He stressed, “Fubara is the one in charge, and Tinubu is aware of this since, as President, he has the most political experience—having held the position of governor for eight years. He ought to know more about it than I do.”
Nwanyanwu delivered a direct message to President Tinubu, stating, “If you don’t know, Wike will contest against you, President Tinubu, in 2027; take it to the bank. Yes, he has done well as a minister, but he will run against you; he will run as president; he will leave that office at the end of 2025 or early 2026 to prepare for his presidency. Why do I say so? I know what I’m saying; I know Wike very well, and he knows me very well; he will run against you in 2027.”………..See More
