In a recent report by Punch, Wariso Wariso the National Secretary of the League of Nigerian Voters reacted to an allegation made by Dan Nwanyanwu, the chairman of Zenith Labour Party.
Nwanyanwu alleged that a killer named Moses Emmanuel who was sent by Nyesom Wike confronted him at a pastry shop in Abuja for supporting Governor Fubara.
However, reacting to Nwanyanwu’s allegation, Wariso, described the event as a misunderstanding. He said Emmanuel is known for being friendly and humorous, with no criminal background. He said on that day, Emmanuel approached Nwanyanwu just to ask why he was speaking badly about Wike, someone he had previously sought help from.
In Wariso’s words: “The incident at the pastry shop of Transcorp Hilton which Dan Nwanyanwu has blown out of proportion was an innocuous encounter between him and Emmanuel Moses, a Rivers man from Emohua Local Government Area. Emmanuel is something of a comedian and a jolly good fellow, with no criminal records whatsoever.
“On the day in question, on sighting Dan Nwanyanwu, he strolled over to innocently enquire why Nwanyanwu was intent on maligning a man (making a veiled reference to Wike) who had done nothing to him, and who he had run to severally for favours in the past and who he had been recently seeking appointments to meet without success”….Seē _ Morē
