In a recent statement via his official X account, the Director of Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts’ Sam Amadi, has commented on the ongoing youth protests in Nigeria.
The protests, called EndBadGovernance, are planned to last for 10 days.
He expressed concern about the state of Nigeria’s future.
“The future of Nigeria may be defined by anger unless the wicked and corrupt political class is uprooted through the ballot or peaceful public action.
Tinubu, Akpabio & co have become desensitized.
As suffering increases in the midst of opulent irresponsibility, anger grows,” Amadi wrote.
Amadi criticized key political figures, including President Bola Tinubu and Senator Godswill Akpabio.
According to him, the growing suffering among Nigerians, comes with the visible irresponsibility of the political elite, is fueling public anger.
The EndBadGovernance protests have gained huge attention nationwide.
They aim to address issues of corruption and poor governance.
