Yusuf Ahmadu, the spokesperson for the FCT Youths Stakeholders Forum, has spoken about the recent protest. He shared his empathy, saying that as a fellow Nigerian, he understands the struggles that everyone is going through.
In a video shared by AIT, Ahmadu said shutting down the country would not be a practical solution to the problems of Nigerians. He questioned why the people who sponsored the protest have refused to reveal their identity. He encouraged young people to seek solutions that would bring positive change without causing harm to the nation.
In Ahmadu’s words: “I am also a youth, I share in the same pains everybody is sharing. Everybody who is in this country understands the difficulties that every other person is facing. I am also a Nigerian but the truth is that if we shut down this Nigeria, where are we going? The people who are sponsoring us to shut down Nigeria where are they? Why are they faceless? Let them come out”….Seē _ Morē
