In response to Abayomi Arabambi’s comments about Peter Gregory Obi, Dr. Moses Paul, a key member of the Obidient Movement, spoke out. Arabambi had accused Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, of being biased against other religions and ethnic groups during an appearance on Arise TV.
In a post on his official X handle on Tuesday, Moses Paul addressed these accusations. He asserted that Arabambi’s claims were false and stressed that Peter Obi is known for his inclusive approach, regardless of tribe or religion. Paul noted that during Obi’s time as governor, he appointed an aide-de-camp (ADC) from Kano state, demonstrating Obi’s fair and non-discriminatory nature.
Moses Paul also challenged Arabambi to name any governor from the Southwest or Northern Nigeria who has an Igbo man as their ADC. He argued that Arabambi’s unfounded accusations only reveal his own deceit and desperation. Paul criticized Arabambi for trying to damage Obi’s reputation and called him a paid propagandist of an oppressive regime. Paul expressed confidence that the truth would eventually prevail, and Arabambi’s falsehoods would be forgotten.
Paul further urged for a platform on Reuben Abati’s next Sunday show to provide a right of reply, highlighting the importance of a fair discussion to counter Arabambi’s accusations………See More
