A 39-year-old man identified as Ayodeji Moses Ojo recently narrated his painful ordeal after suffering multiple injuries during an installation work in Lagos State. According to his statements which were shared by VANGUARD, he also disclosed how his boss abandoned him after promising to take care of his medical bills.
The news regarding the ordeal of a 39-year-old installation worker identified as Ayodeji Moses-Ojo generated mixed reactions from different quarters after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
In a twist of events, while working on an electric billboard along Agege road, Lekki area of Lagos State, an electric surge threw him off balance, landing him on the main road and leaving him unconscious.
However, after spending several days at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, his condition was not getting better, a situation made worse by the disposition of his boss.
According to his statements which were made available to the general public by VANGUARD on Saturday October 18th 2025, he pointed out that his employer promised to take care of his medical bills but went against his promise.
Ayodeji Moses-Ojo, amid years, disclosed that the total bill, amounting to ten million naira was initially to be handled by his boss, but after spending three million, he rescinded without his condition getting better.
“At first, my boss promised to take care of the bills. But after some time, he said he would only spend ¦ 3 million, whether I got better or not. He told me that once the ¦ 3 million was finished, he would not pay a kobo more.” he said.
