Veteran Yoruba movie actor Jide Kosoko has revealed how his parents marital issues affected his choice of religion, while also stating why he had to follow his mother after she broke up with his father.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomotv during an interview, he made it known that his mother and his father had marital issues, saying that is the reason he became a Christian.
In his statement, he said, “At first, my mother did not want me to become an actor, but they later agreed and told me that I must attend church programs regularly.
“When my mom and dad had issues, I followed my mom, that’s why I became a Christian.
“My father was a Muslim, but since I followed my mother’s religion, I was named Joshua, and I hold a very high position in my church.”….Seē _Morē
