Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), a prominent Nigerian politician, issued a strong condemnation of recent travel advisories from foreign powers warning their citizens against traveling to Nigeria. The advisories, issued by the US, UK, Canada, EU, and other countries, suggest potential violence in Nigeria in the coming days.
FFK expressed his disapproval on his verified Facebook account, emphasizing that any negative expectations for Nigeria would fail and that the nation would emerge from this turbulent period stronger and better.
“The blood of the Nigerian people is sacred and must not be shed lightly,” FFK asserted, referencing allegations by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) that foreign mercenaries have been brought into Nigeria to foment trouble and exploit planned demonstrations. He called for the immediate neutralization of any foreign mercenaries involved in violent activities, urging security forces to act decisively.
“Any foreign mercenary that has been sent to our country to create havoc, destabilize our nation, destroy our property, kill our people, or engage in any form of violence or armed insurrection should be speedily dispatched to hell by our security forces and sent back to their respective nations in body bags whilst their local collaborators are arrested for treason and brought to justice in our courts,” FFK declared
He criticized the use of local and foreign elements to undermine Nigeria’s sovereignty, independence, and stability. FFK emphasized that Nigeria would not succumb to foreign powers seeking to create panic and chaos, divide the nation, or disrupt its democracy through riots and violent demonstrations.
“Our government must be swift, strong, and decisive in this matter and must desist from making unnecessary appeals to those who do not wish us well,” FFK stated, calling for resolute action against both internal and external threats.
He expressed unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, confident that the President would not falter in protecting the nation. “We must stand firm with a strong resolve and eyeball to eyeball against both the enemy within and without, knowing that God is with us,” FFK concluded….Seē _ Morē
