Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has revealed how she met veteran Nigerian singer D’banj and the piece of advice he gave her on her movie career, while also stating the kind of support she got from him that helped her movie career.
In a post that was shared on the official Instagram page of PunchNewspapers, she disclosed that D’banj gave her some money and asked her to produce the continuation of one of her movies, known as Jenifa.
In her statement, she said, “When me and D’banj met for the very first time, we dined together and we enjoyed ourselves.
“D’banj asked me if I was going to make another part of the Jenifa movie, but I said it wouldn’t do it because I already did two parts of the movie.
“He advised me to produce another part for the movie and also promised to give any kind of support that I needed.
“D’banj gave me some money, and I said I should produce another Jenifa movie with it.
“I had tears in my eyes because he didn’t ask for anything in return.”……….See More
